Journal Peeks

Hello! I hope everyone is having a good start to 2015 and sticking to their new year's resolutions. The only thing I have decided on this year is to try and get more sleep (I don't know how long that will last). I'm back at school after a lovely relaxing holiday, which as always passed too quickly for my liking.

Today I thought I'd share a few pages of my journal/notebook/doodles (I don-t really know what to call it).  This is just a book that I like to collect drawing and words that pop into my head that I don't want to forget. There are a lot more pages so if you want another of these posts ask!

Does anyone else keep a journal like this?

Martha xx

  1. I always enjoy looking at other people's journals, would definitely like to see more. That drawing of the girl and the moon is incredible, any particular inspiration behind it? xx

    1. Thank you so much! Usually I will scroll through my pinterest/tumblr feed until I come across a photograph or quote that I find inspiring. Also if you try to be really observational throughout your day you will usually find one or two inspiring things. xx

The details of the illustrations are just so intricate and carefully thought out. Are you planning to be a graphic designer or illustrator one day? I'm sure you'll be a great one. 30. Wow - that is so beautiful. You're really talented. It's really inspiring just to look at those pages. I would love to keep a journal like that, but I'm not artistic at all.

My journals are the complete opposite- extremely messy and unattractive looking with lots of scribbles in biro everywhere and crossing out! They still really help me to process my feelings though. It's amazing how many different forms of creativity there are and how differently people express themselves.
